Black Jack (21)
Black Jack is probably the most popular Casino game. It is simple game played against the "House" where the players goal is get closer to 21 than the dealer ("House") without going over. Each player is dealt 2 cards and can ask for more ("hit") until he decides to stop ("stay") or goes over 21 ("busts"). The value of the cards are added together to get the total. The card values are as follows: King, Queen, Jack ("face cards") and 10's have a value of 10. Aces have a value of 1 or 11 depending on the players choice. All other cards are valued at their number. The player acts on his cards before the dealer and if the player "busts" he loses his bet regardless of what happens when the dealer acts. The dealer must hit all 16s and stay on all 17s. If the dealer busts, then all players that have not busted win even money on their bet. If the dealer makes a hand, then only players that have stayed with a higher total than the dealer will win even money on their bet. If there is a tie, there is no winner and the bet remains. All other bets are lost to the House. The special namesake hand ("blackjack") is acheived when a players first 2 cards are an Ace and a 10 (includes face cards and tens). This is the best hand in the game and beats all other hands including 21s using 3 or more cards. Unless the dealer also has blackjack, the player wins 2 to 1 on his bet for this hand.
